Plaintiff brought this suit to recover on a promissory note for the principal sum of $88,375 and to foreclose a mortgage given as security for the payment thereof. The note and mortgage were executed by defendant Midvale Home Finance Corporation, hereinafter referred to as the finance corporation, in favor of the plaintiff. The note was indorsed by defendants D. M. Todd, Jr., B. J. Barnard, Herbert Taylor, J. E. Teague, George M. Turpin, S. M. Woolf, O. C. Bowman, L. F. Pitt, Shoras Loveless, and W. L. Woolf.
