MEMORANDUM OPINION REGARDING MOTIONS FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

I. Introduction
This opinion addresses an issue of law presented by various motions for summary judgment in these three adversary proceedings. Pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 547, the trustee seeks to recover several payments made by the debtor, Steel Improvement Company, to the defendants within 90 days of the debtor’s bankruptcy petition, filed on December 19,1984.
