Joe Anthony Carr was convicted of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon arising out of the shooting death of Ernest Golden. He appeals from the denial of his motion for a new trial. We affirm.

1. The evidence adduced at trial authorized the jury to find that appellant approached Golden carrying an assault-type rifle while the victim was outside of his room at the Lakewood Motor Lodge.
