On July 6, 1935, and for a long time prior thereto, plaintiff was engaged in business at 26 Union Street in Waterbury, of selling at retail, wall paper, paints, oils, calcimine and other materials for use similar to these articles, paper hanger’s supplies and utensils, glass, mirrors and other merchandise. At the rear of the building in which the store is located and attached thereto is an office building and at the rear of the office is a building used as a shop which is used by plaintiff, and at the rear of the shop building is a six-car garage.
