Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Budd G. Goodman, J.), rendered August 22, 1989, convicting defendant, after a jury trial of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and sentencing him to a term of from 6 to 12 years, unanimously affirmed.

We reject defendant’s claim of a Batson violation (Batson v Kentucky, 476 US 79), asserted on the ground that the prosecutor used two peremptory challenges to exclude two black venire persons but did not challenge a white juror with an allegedly similar employment background.
