Convicted of breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, the defendant challenges the denial of his motion for a required finding of not *535guilty. He claims that he was not present at the scene of the crime and that he had, in any event, withdrawn from any joint venture at the time of the crime’s commission. The defendant also asserts that the judge’s instructions were incorrect and that his counsel was ineffective.
