The plaintiff, David N. Riley (plaintiff),1 is before the Supreme Court on ap*1090peal from a judgment on a jury verdict entered in favor of the defendants, William M. Stone, M.D. (Dr. Stone) and University Physicians Foundation, Inc. (University or collectively defendant), in this medical malpractice action.
