I concur in the opinion of the majority in holding that the place of the disaster to the Fidelity is within the boundaries of the state of California, and that the laws of California in force at the time furnish to this court a rule of decision applicable to the question in this case as to the right of widows and children to recover damages from a person or corporation guilty of negligence or a wrongful act causing the death of their husbands and fathers.
