_L¡This personal injury litigation arises from an October 18, 2006 vehicle accident which occurred in Duson, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. The plaintiff, Harold Thi-bodeaux, brought suit against Melinda Trahan and her employer, the Lafayette Parish School Board, to recover damages he sustained in the accident. Following a bench trial, the trial court found that Mr. Thibodeaux has sustained $70,500.00 in general damages and $73,218.41 in past and future medical expenses.
