The Cowley County National Bank held a number of warehouse receipts for grain, issued by the Rawlins-Dobbs Elevator Company, as collateral security for several notes. The receipts were deposited' with the bank to secure notes of the person, firm or corporation to which they were respectively issued, in one instance that of the elevator company, in two that of Rawlins-Beverly & Company, and in two others that of John Rawlins, who appears to have had charge of the business of both these concerns.
