Evans, the defendant in error, brought suit in the Supreme Court against Potts, the plaintiff in error, to recover certain moneys which he claimed were due to him under a contract made between him and Potts, by the terms of which he was employed as a salesman for a period of one year from the 1st day of October, 1894, at a salary of $1,560, payable in equal weekly installments.
