OPINION OF THE COURT

2Per curiam

Respondent was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York by the First Judicial Department on December 13, 1965, as Sheldon Irwin Walker. At all times pertinent to *4this proceeding respondent has maintained an office for the practice of law in this Department.

By motion dated March 24,1998, the Departmental Disciplinary Committee seeks an order pursuant to 22 NYCRR 603.16 (b) (1) suspending respondent from the practice of law indefinitely and until further order of the Court on the ground of physical or mental incapacity.
