1. This case comes before this court on a judgment overruling a demurrer to the bill of complainants. The writ of error brings that issue here properly, because, if the demurrer had been sustained and the case dismissed, there would have been an end to the controversy. But, each party has excepted to other rulings of the court interlocutory in their character, such as reference to the master and demurrer to answers in the nature of cross-bills by the defendants.
