This is an appeal from an action under the Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act, enacted in Texas in 1965. It is cited as Tex.Rev.Civ.Stat.Ann. Art. 2328b-4 (1965).

On March 31, 1961, Catherine Westphal (her name following a subsequent marriage) was divorced from Charles Palmer in the Court of Domestic Relations of Harris County, Texas.
