KAPLAN, District Judge.

These sixteen actions are among the hundreds seeking recovery for personal injuries allegedly resulting from the use of the prescription diabetes medication, Re-zulin, formerly manufactured by defendants Warner-Lambert Co. and its Parke-Davis division, that have been consolidated here for pretrial proceedings by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation.
