—Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Rosen, J.), rendered March 3, 2000, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of assault in the second degree.

In satisfaction of a three-count indictment, defendant pleaded guilty to the crime of assault in the second degree with the understanding that he would be sentenced to a determinate prison term of five years with a mandatory IV2 years of postrelease supervision upon his release.
