DECUIR, Judge.

| Ronald Bianchi and his wife, Peggy Bianchi, filed this medical malpractice suit against Dr. Ernesto A. Kufoy following Mr. Bianchi’s cataract surgery in October of 2002. A jury found Dr. Kufoy had breached the appropriate standard of care in his treatment of Mr. Bianchi but, finding no proof of causation, failed to award damages. The trial court denied the plaintiffs’ motions for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and new trial.
