OPINION OF THE COURT

O’DONNELL, Senior Judge:

The appellant was convicted of negligent homicide in violation of Article 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 934 (1976).1 His sentence to a bad-con*799duct discharge and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade was approved by the convening authority.
