| plaintiff, Bronel Hebert, filed suit for damages against Defendants, City of New Iberia, Quinten Adcock, and Scott Davis. 1 Mr. Hebert alleges he sustained personal injury and property damage when New Iberia City Police Officers Adcock and Davis entered his home to execute a search warrant that he alleges was improvidently obtained. At trial, at the close of Mr. Hebert’s case, Defendants moved for an involuntary dismissal. The trial court took no action on the motion, and Defendants presented their evidence.
