Delbert Neil Helm appeals from a judgment against him for $1,059,927.15 in favor of the appellee, Mid-America Industries, Inc. The judgment, which was based on a jury verdict, resulted from business dealings between the parties. Helm contends the Sebastian County Circuit Court lacked jurisdiction of him and was not the proper venue for the action. He also argues the court erred in proceeding with the action against him because it was already pending in a federal court in Oklahoma.
