From a judgment against the endorsers of a promissory note, they have appealed. Th'e correctness of the judgment depends upon the question, whether the demand, protest and notice have been proved by competent and sufficient evidence. To prove those facts, the plaintiffs offered a certified copies of the notarial protest and certificates of notice. These copies are signed by the notary, and bear his official seal.
