COLLOTON, Circuit Judge.

Russell Henson pled guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm as a previously convicted felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(2). The district court2 sentenced him to 84 months in prison, the bottom of his advisory guidelines range. We affirm.

In March 2006, a grand jury returned an indictment against Henson, charging him with unlawful possession of a firearm as a previously convicted felon. Henson pled guilty, and the presentence report prepared by the United States Probation Office calculated Henson’s advisory guidelines range as 84 to 105 months’…
