SULLIVAN, Chief Judge:

On February 27-28 and March 1-2, 1991, appellant was tried by a general court-martial composed of officers at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. Contrary to his pleas, he was convicted of wrongful use of cocaine, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 912a. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, 6 months’ confinement, and reduction to E-l. The sentence was approved by the convening authority on April 16, 1991.
