The plaintiff, Georgette R. Asbury (“As-bury”), proceeding pro se, filed this action under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e to 2000e-5 (“Title VII”), asserting claims of disparate treatment, retaliation, and discriminatory discharge stemming from the termination of her employment by the Roanoke Fire-EMS department in December 2006.
