The following is taken from the very complete statement of the case made by the Court of Civil Appeals, reported in 273 S. W. 914:
“The appeal in this case is from a judgment against the city of Belton in seven consolidated suits brought against the city upon certain warrants and bond and warrant coupons, the validity of which constitutes the controversy presented in each of the cases. There was a trial to the court without a jury in which judgment was rendered in favor of the several plaintiffs for the amounts of the coupons and warrants sued upon, establishing the validity of all the bond…
