OPINION

McKEOWN, Circuit Judge:

We are faced with a peculiar case of “he said, she said.” After Benjamin McChes-ney was convicted of orchestrating a massive gun heist, he claimed his ex-girlfriend had said nasty things about him to the jurors at his trial. None of the jurors reported this improper contact, nor did the court security officers who would have apparently been within earshot. The district court did not buy McChesne/s story and denied his motion for a new trial.
