Arthur L. Hoch on April 6, 1957, filed his- petition with this court for a writ of habeas corpus on the ground that he was being illegally restrained of his liberty in the Eastern State Penitentiary as result of a sentence to imprisonment there for a period of not less than five years nor more than 15 years, to be computed from January 3, 1951.
