* Writ of error refused April 18, 1923. This appeal is from a judgment in favor of the appellee for the sum of $8,000 as damages resulting from the death of her husband, and for $2,000 for the mental and physical suffering endured by him prior to his death. The agreed statement of the case shows substantially the following facts: Ollie Gant, the deceased husband of the appellee, was fatally injured on December 2, 1919, in the railway yards of the Texas Pacific Railroad Company at Shreveport, La., while engaged in the performance of his duties as a switchman.
