In the information in this case, filed in the district court of Tillman county, A. J. Hunt was charged with the crimei of murder, alleged to have been committed in said county on or about the 27th day of November, 1922, by killing one J. R. Hughes. On the trial the jury returned a verdict finding- him guilty of manslaughter in the first degree, and assessing his punishment at imprisonment in the penitentiary for the term of seven years. He has appealed from thei judgment rendered in pursuance of the verdict, but no brief has been filed, and no appearance made on his behalf in this court. The…
