A jury found Steven Ray Abbott (“Appellant”) guilty of statutory sodomy in the first degree and child molestation in the first degree of a child who was thirteen at the time of the offenses (“Child”). Appellant waived sentencing by the jury, and the trial court sentenced Appellant to twelve years in the Department of Corrections on each count with the sentences to run concurrently.
