PRICE, Chief Justice.
This is an action instituted by plaintiffs to recover damages in the sum of $500,000 against defendants (appellees) Simms Oil Company, Tide Water Associated Oil Company, and Stanolind Oil and Gas Company, for the alleged breach of an implied covenant to develop for oil and gas an area held under an oil and gas lease upon which the said defendants, as to 374 acres involved, were bound to the same covenants and obligations as the original lessee.
