Appellant entered into a contract with certain heirs at law of Laura A. Groold, deceased, to perform certain legal services.- Thereafter, on May 10, 1907, he filed a bill in the Circuit Court of Grundy county in behalf of said heirs at law to set aside her will, making the devisee, legatees and executor defendants. Later, without the consent of appellant, the parties settled the suit for a certain sum of money.
