The principal question- to be determined is whether or not the plaintiff has shown enough to confer jurisdiction upon the court over the subject matter of the suit within the meaning of Section 509, L. O. L., *362reading thus: “In a suit for the dissolution of the marriage contract, the plaintiff therein must he an inhabitant of the state at the commencement of the suit, and for one year prior thereto; which residence shall be sufficient to give the court jurisdiction, without regard to the place where the marriage was solemnized, or the cause of suit arose.”
