A jury found defendant William Coustin guilty of the offense of armed robbery in violation of section 18 — 2(a) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, eh. 38, par. 18 — 2(a)). The circuit court of Adams County sentenced defendant to 20 years’ imprisonment in the Department of Corrections. Defendant appeals his sentence alleging it was excessive where his codefendant Tracy Cates was sentenced to only 13 years. We affirm.
