In 2011, Cornelio Ramirez pled guilty to cocaine trafficking and was sentenced to 25 years’ imprisonment and ordered to pay a $1,000,000 fine. In 2014, Ramirez filed a motion styled “Extraordinary Motion in Arrest of Judgment” in which he argued that his motion to suppress should have been granted and that his “void judgment” should be corrected.
