Appellee, Mrs. Whitney Istre, sued appellant, McCrory Corporation, et al., in the Chancery Court of Marion *682County, Mississippi. The suit was by attachment, Mc-Crory Corporation being a nonresident defendant. Slander was alleged, and after the hearing of the case, the chancellor rendered a judgment in favor of appellee for the sum of $5,000. Hence tins appeal. We affirm the case.

Appellant, McCrory, operated a mercantile establishment in the City of Columbia under the name of Mc-Lellan’s. The co-appellant, Valentine, was manager of the store.
