OPINION

BRYNER, Chief Judge.

Ronald Williamson was charged by indictment with one count of murder in the second degree, one count of robbery in the first degree and two counts of tampering with physical evidence. AS 11.41.110(a)(1); AS 11.41.500(a)(1); AS 11.56.610(a)(1), (a)(4). Following a jury trial, Williamson was convicted of manslaughter, a lesser-included offense of second-degree murder. He was also convicted of both counts of tampering with physical evidence. Superi- or Court Judge J. Justin Ripley sentenced Williamson to five years’ imprisonment for each of the tampering charges and…
