This is an action against the city of Mount Vernon for an alleged breach of contract of employment.
The contract is under seal dated the 19th day of December, 1912, and provides that the plaintiff will act as professional adviser or consulting architect for the defendant in the matter of the proposed new city hall building and police headquarters building.
