This appeal arises from an action filed by Diane Deckert against First Wachovia Student Financial Services, Inc., now known as Wachovia Student Financial Services, Inc. *817(Wachovia),1 in federal court after she had filed a similar action in Texas state court. The district court, relying on the prior Texas state court judgment and principles of res judicata, dismissed Deckert’s lawsuit. Deckert appeals. We affirm.
