— From the agreed statement of facts, it appears that Davis & Oo. were dealers in general merchandise, with stores at Trenton, Missouri, and Atchi-son, Kansas. The defendants were employed as salesmen; and, in the effort to sell the goods of their employers, they took samples of various articles, visited the different residences in Trenton and secured written orders for the goods of Davis & Co. The merchandise was subsequently delivered and paid for.
