Plaintiff, Douglas Thompson, a boy of 3 years and 11 months, was struck by defendant’s car as he ran across Broadway street in the city of Muskegon Heights. Broadway is a through street extending in a general easterly and westerly direction, and is one of the 2 main arteries of travel of the city.
