The offense is murder. The punishment assessed is confinement in the state penitentiary for a term of 30 years.

The record reflects that appellant’s wife was a sister to J. A. Dean, commonly called Blackie Dean, who owned a farm of 110 acres of land, some of which was in cultivation, the balance in pasture. It seems from the record that appellant was rather richly endowed with inertia.
