OPINION
WHITE, Judge.
In 1984, appellee, James Goosby and Nob-bie Carr, a co-defendant, were convicted of two counts of armed robbery and as habitual criminals. The jury sentenced both defendants to life imprisonment on each count. The convictions and sentences were affirmed on appeal. State v. James Arthur Goosby and Nobbie Carr, No. 19 (Tenn.Crim.App., Jackson, Feb. 27, 1985).
