¶ 1. Daryl Conner was convicted of burglary of a dwelling and felony fleeing. He was sentenced as a habitual offender, under Mississippi Code Annotated section 99-19-83 (Rev.2007), to serve life imprisonment. In this appeal, Conner argues that (1) there was insufficient evidence to convict him of the crime of felony fleeing; (2) the circuit court erred when it sentenced him as a habitual offender; (3) the circuit court failed to instruct the jury on the elements of the underlying crime of larceny; and (4) the circuit court erred in the denial of his motion for a…
