This is a medical malpractice case in which the plaintiff, Barbara White, administratrix of the estate of her deceased husband, Earl R. White, appeals from the Court of Appeals’ decision to reverse the trial court’s denial of a motion for summary judgment for the defendant, Dr. William H. Lawrence. The issues to be decided are whether the decedent’s suicide was a superseding, intervening cause, thereby precluding recovery against the defendant as a matter of law, and whether the decedent’s suicide may be considered in determining the fault of the defendant…
