Plaintiff in this wrongful death action is the personal representative of Robert Jaynes, who was killed when he drove his motorcycle into an unshielded guy wire attached to a utility pole. The wire is owned by defendant Pacific Northwest Bell (PNB), and the pole is owned by defendant Portland General Electric (PGE). The jury found that defendants were negligent and that their comparative fault was greater than Jaynes’. Defendants appeal, and plaintiff cross-appeals from the resulting judgment.
