Opinion

LAVINE, J.

The petitioner, Leroy A. Hutton, appeals from the judgment of the habeas court denying his amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus, which alleged in relevant part that he had been denied the constitutional right to the effective assistance of counsel. On appeal, the petitioner claims that the court improperly (1) concluded that he was not denied the effective assistance of counsel (a) during plea negotiations and (b) at sentencing, and (2) required him to prove the actual plea offer. We affirm the judgment of the habeas court.
