Matt Whitson, one of the defendants in error, brought this action in the District Court of Saline County, to foreclose a mechanic’s lien upon several contiguous lots in the city of Salina, and for a jndgment against O. P. Hamilton for the amount due upon an account for steam-heating apparatus, set up in the property by the plaintiff under a contract with O. P.
