In a proceeding pursuant to article 7 of the Family Court Act, the appeal is from an order of the Family Court, Queens County (Gartenstein, J.), dated August 2,1982, which, after a hearing, adjudicated appellant a juvenile delinquent, finding that he had committed an act which, if committed by an adult, would have constituted the crime of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and placed him on probation for 18 months.
