Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Savarese, J.), rendered October 16, 1979, convicting him of two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. Judgment reversed, on the law, and new trial ordered. On the facts of this case, the trial court abused its discretion in refusing to grant defendant’s application for a change in his appointed counsel.
